Atlanta police looking for CVS robber

Atlanta police are searching for the man who robbed a CVS on Saturday and got away with about $2,500.

The incident happened at the pharmacy at 3788 Roswell Road.

A man with a black handgun forced a cashier and a manager to go to the office where the money and safes were located, police said. The manager was ordered to open both safes and put the money into a gray coupon bag with CVS written on it, according to the incident report. Another employee walked in on the robbery and was ordered to sit on the floor with the cashier while the suspect finished collecting the money.

The employees were forced to walk to the breakroom and sit on the floor there until the suspect left.

The suspect was wearing black sweat pants with white lines down the side, a black hoodie with red or orange graphic designs on the front and back, white gloves, and a black half face mask.

No injuries were reported.

The investigation is continuing.
