Atlanta bank robbed by three armed suspects

A bank robbery at an Atlanta Wells Fargo Bank Tuesday morning is being investigated by law enforcement officials.

The takeover style robbery took place around 10:15 a.m. at the 3000 block of Peachtree Road location, according to the Atlanta FBI field office. Three armed suspects reportedly announced the robbery while forcing customers to the ground and vaulting a teller.

The three made off with an undisclosed amount of money in an unidentified vehicle.

Each is described as male, wearing all black clothing, the FBI said. Two were said to be wearing latex gloves — one also had a black backpack and one also had a white cloth face mask and white tennis shoes. A third was wearing a brown Panama style brim hat and a chain necklace.
