Police seek man in July armed robbery

By Daniel Wilco

Atlanta police released a video Thursday of a July robbery of a service station in the 3400 block of Northside Parkway.

Around 10 a.m. on July 28, the cashier of the station was counting money from the register and planned to take it to the bank, according to an incident report. Another worker was manning the other register. In the video, a black male, described as between 6 feet and 6-2 and weighing around 180 to 200 pounds, went behind the counter and pointed a black hand gun at the two. He demanded they get on the ground while he pocketed about $4,000 in cash. He then ran away behind the store toward Taco Bell.

Police ask anyone with information on the case to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Callers do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
