A 65-year-old Cobb County woman reported missing Thursday night has been found, authorities said Friday.
Authorities had issued a Mattie’s Call for Janice Whitted, who had last been seen on Pete Shaw Road in Marietta. Her family thought she was going to Town Center Mall.
She had spoken with her family since leaving, but they said she sounded confused and unaware of her location, which was the area of Crossville, Tennessee, Cobb police said. Her credit card was used in Monticello, Kentucky, earlier in the day, they said.
Just before 1 p.m. Friday, the Mattie’s Call was canceled. Police said Whitted was located in good condition by a family member in her vehicle on I-75 near Wade Green Road.
